Daimler gibt Präzisionsschmiede den "Ritterschlag"

Remscheid. "Wir sind aus dem Gröbsten raus", sagt Carl-Albert Petzoldt, Finanz- Geschäftsführer der Sona BLW Präzisionsschmiede GmbH. Zum Zurücklehnen bestehe dennoch kein Grund bei dem Automobilzulieferer; die Fixkosten müssten runter. In 60 Projekten wird in den drei deutschen Sona-Standorten derzeit daran getüftelt.

Atulya Gupta is the new Plant Manager of the SONA BLW PRÄZISIONSSCHMIEDE since November 2008. He followed Dr. Stefan Witt, the MD Technology and HR, who had temporary assumed this function.

(Hanover, 22 September 2008) At the IAA commercial vehicle fair in Hanover SONA BLW PRÄZISIONSSCHMIEDE GMBH intends, together with its Indian asso- ciate company Mahindra Sona Ltd, to demonstrate its global presence. From 25 September to 2 October 2008 the pioneers in precision forging will be celebrating their trade fair premiere as a German-Indian company at Stand A40 in Hall 23. The SONA BLW GROUP was formed in January 2008 from the former Thys- senKrupp Präzisionsschmiede GmbH and SONA Okegawa Precision Forgings Ltd.

Dr. Surinder Kapur is the new chairman of the Executive Board

(Remscheid/Munich/Duisburg 30. July 2008) The supervisory board of SONA BLW PRÄZISIONS-SCHMIEDE GMBH decided on a new executive board in a meeting on July 23rd 2008 The new Chairman of the executive board is Dr. Surinder Kapur, the founder of the SONA GROUP. He has resigned his position as chairman of the supervisory board of SONA BLW. At his side Carl-Albert Petzoldt will head the areas of Finance, Controlling, IT and Law. Dr. Stefan Witt will continue in his function as managing director in charge of the areas Technology and Personnel.

Remscheid / Germany - April 7th, 2008 - Today plant Remscheid of SONA BLW PRÄZISIONSSCHMIEDE was awarded by Ford Motor Company with the famous Q1 Award. Managing Director Markus Lüke and Plant Manager Joerg Deglmann was handed the award by Mr Dietmar Freudenberger - Quality Manager - of the Ford Group.
